Sunday, March 8, 2020 - Light transparent color. Nice nose. Ripe berry fruit. More towards blackberry, so has a bright aspect to it. Some spice and eventually something kinda musty, but generally a fruit driven nose. Palate gets some of that fruit. Mid-palate a bit hollow. Finish has some acidity/salinity/vegetal notes. Elegant in feel. You get the nice fruit of the vintage and the elegance of Burgundy. You don’t get the earthiness you often get though.
