Thursday, September 18, 2014 - Burgundy dinner at Grace (Grace Chicago): Another fantastic bottle of Leroy Corton Renardes. Full on Leroy nose with intense spice along with red, black and blue fruits. All of this carried through to the open and expansive and highly nuanced palate. Powerful and elegant this was a real pleasure and a great example of a wonderful 2000 Grand Cru. This will improve, but is delicious today.
