Thursday, December 7, 2017 - Took three hours to open up. Initially very muted on the nose. It then splashes out with spice, herb, berries, perfume and red currant. The wine opened up in the glass. The fruit is forward, sweet and alluring. Palate is expressive and silky but slightly lean for a Leroy grand cru. Give it at least 5 more years. This is still too young to unfold it's layers.
