Thursday, April 6, 2023 - I am surprised and delighted by this. Opened 2 hours ago, the first impressions were: big palate, lots of tannin, bit of a chemical finish. Paired with pan- fried duck, it has developed into a really satisfying wine. Good nose, broad and long on the. Palate, finish still pleasantly acidic, but if this was a bordeaux, you’d call it iodine!
