Wednesday, December 17, 2014 - Blind December Lunch (Lupo): Tasted blind. Ripe and sweeter pinot fruit but with some development and maturing notes. Clove spice, sweet berry fruit and a hint of smoky oak. A mature Cali pinot? Definitely has some age. Well balanced with resolved tannins and decent acidity. This is very well done but still shows the Cali Pinot profile which is not my favorite style of PN. At peak.
