Really smooth mid-palate (the tannins are incorporated really well) with a nice purity but a lighter profile than expected - medium/medium plus body. Nice rich flavors of cassis, some spice/licorice, and cocoa/mocha. Fairly long finish. Popped/poured but drank over a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but at a nice drinking point. A nice vintage vintage of this wine - no surprise of the 95 rating from WA. 100% cab.
