Thursday, June 22, 2023 - Drinking great tonight & 4yrs+ since my first btl! Semi translucent ruby red. Enticing underbrush on the nose. Very 2015 pleaser w/ Bing cherry, strawberry, spice & thankfully signature Volnay minerality. I think 2015's added ripeness does a nice job of augmenting Volnay's usual penchant for a lean mouthfeel. Wish I had bought more than 2! Paid $25 on release. Drinks more like $60 plus village Burgundy. Exceedingly well balanced. 13%alc.
