Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - The previous note describes it pretty well. I would add that this is showing shockingly young coming from a supposedly mediocre vintage for near term consumption (really starting to understand that generalizations in Burgundy don't really work). The oak did blow off on the 2nd night and the wine was showing better. This is quite tasty today but somewhat one dimensional. Given all the material and acidic structure that's in place, I would hold for 3-5 years if I had more bottles.
