Thursday, December 27, 2018 - 12 Days of Christmas - 2018; 12/21/2018-1/1/2019 (NYC, Vermont, Lake Placid): Tasted double blind - Flight # 1 - Wine #2: Definitely seems like Sauv Blanc on the nose - with tropical fruit. Tastes of pineapple, grapefruit, lots of citrusy acidity, some minerals and a bit of heat from the alchohol on the finish. Very lean and bright. Quite a contrast after the rich Kistler in spot #1. 2nd place for the flight with the group voting 22 pennies.
