Wednesday, April 12, 2017 - Kutch 2015 Lineup (Maro Grill, Laguna Beach): Nose is sweet strawberry, almost candied or jammy. First of all, this wine is young and shows that way, fair enough. Palate reveals medium plus oak and lots of stem flavors. An underlying foundation of gritty tannins is omnipresent. The flavor isn't sweet strawberry though, just a light sprinkling of nearly ripe strawberry with dark raspberry and cranberry. Very good wine.
