Wednesday, March 1, 2017 - dense dark magenta coloured. nice hot, port-styled nose. raisins, rum, plums, bacon in aftertaste. developed nose and taste.
after three days in the bottle: still very dense and youthful, developed a spicey note with cinnamon and star anise.
perfect balance between tannin, acid and sugar. barbera ready to go. will be interesting how it develops in the future.
