Saturday, April 20, 2024 - Final of 3 bottles, last had this wine 3.5 yrs ago.
It is gorgeous now, showing black fruits and charcoal on the nose, with some soil or olive pit notes, smoke, incense, and a wet rocks.
The palate bursts with perfectly ripened black fruits, a sweet plum flavor in the background, some mint, road tar, maybe a faint note of prunes. Quite complex and very delicious.
The mouthfeel is full, with well-structured, grippy tannins, very ample acidity, with a deep perfume that lifts the palate and deftly reels-in the wine.
Drink now through 2028+, lovely.
