4/21/2024 4:14:00 PM - Duh, !! Stored. Did you buy them at release or recently. I have one to take to our anniversary dinner but worry about it from your note. Did it smell like gym socks or ??? Thank you
4/21/2024 9:29:00 PM - Ah, ok :). Recent auction buy. Full case (not opened cardboard box) which made me buy it as it… was not a good idea as it seems.
4/22/2024 10:55:00 AM - Sometimes the bad smell/flavors will blow off in a few minutes to an hour., have you gone back to try it later. With older bubbles I guess you might lose the remaining bubbles….
We had a 73 dom ruinart the other night and we had no hope for it. But it was stored well and still had fizz after the cork broke off and we used the Durant to get the remaining cork out. It was amazing
4/22/2024 11:49:00 AM - Sadly, not the case here. Badly corked, no recovery. I love old Champagne, DP from the 60/70s is amazing too, but no hope here.
