Sunday, February 25, 2024 - Slow-ox in 2 burg glasses & btl for 3hrs prior to dinner. Served low 60s temp w/a little back & forth to the frig. Semi opaque ruby red. Floral & dark berry aromas. Excellent purity, concentration & lift! A balanced elegant mix of; dark fruit, spice, mineral & sous bois. Oak nicely integrated. Alc is a paltry 12.5%. Definitely has the tell-tale Leroy concentration & lush fruit. Feeling very smart for grabbing these at $39 on release. 2015 continues to be a very pleasing vintage for Burgundy.
