Wednesday, January 11, 2017 - Cru Burgeois Bordeaux (Ripple - Washington, DC): Smoky nose with fresh black cherries and earth. Fleshy but firm with black cherries and red currants and notes of tilled soil. Accessible, not too gritty. A blend of 44% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
