Sunday, May 19, 2013 - Chicago Berserkerfest Dinner #3 (Chez Whitehead - Northbrook IL): Nicely floral start with intense red fruit aromas and a bit of baking spice. Same fruit flavors, with strawberry and red cherry well complemented by the same spice character and lots of structural balance from elegant tannins and impressive acidity. A touch sweet in middle, but I expect this might soften as the wine integrates a bit more.
