Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Similar impressions to those in my 2018 and 2022 tasting notes, so I won't repeat the detail here. Reflecting the vintage, rich, ripe and full. Orchard and tropical fruit notes. The minerally, reduced quality of the wine, and the fresh acidity retained, balance the wine so that it is in no way too broad or overblown. The power and gravitas here suggests, to me anyway, Grand Cru. I don't think this Mouches blanc has the character to be among the longest lived for this cuvée, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2015 was relatively long-lived, out to at least 2035+.
