Similar impressions to those in my 2018 and 2022 tasting notes, so I won't repeat the detail here. Reflecting the vintage, rich, ripe and full. Orchard and tropical fruit notes. The minerally, reduced quality of the wine, and the fresh acidity retained, balance the wine so that it is in no way too broad or overblown. The power and gravitas here suggests, to me anyway, Grand Cru. I don't think this Mouches blanc has the character to be among the longest lived for this cuvée, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2015 was relatively long-lived, out to at least 2035+.

As in my 2018 tasting note, for me, this is a 2015 Burgundy blanc that transcends its (warm) vintage. Drunk over two days, during which it did not change. Mid gold, but no sign, at all, of premox. Pin point precision and acidity offsets, and balances, the rich and full flavours. Real depth and concentration. Peach, pear and almond paste with lemon citrus and touches of pineapple and passionfruit and mealy complexity. Chalky minerality and a deft hand with the oak. Alcohol 13.5% ABV. An attractive bouquet of lemon zest, pears, clotted cream and river gravel with a little jasmine perfume and some exotic fruit lift. I can see this Clos des Mouches Blanc drinking well out to 2035 and beyond.

Chez MG: some white and yellow orchard fruit, quite round, from a sunny vintage, but with a nice tension and length. Already good, but will profit from some extended 2-3 year cellaring.

honestly I love this wine in many vintages, but the 2015 has too much '15 typicity... my wife knows virtually nothing about vineyards, producers or vintages, but I bet that she would ask me to open a different bottle and I was spot on... this has a softness, a little caramel, not enough lift / citrus / brightness... that said the 2010 and 2017 versions of this have been great
I liked this and Tiff didn't (she would have rated this like 89)... I found it round a la '15, but also with some nice acidity / brightness for balance... not a citrus wine (a la Puligny Montrachet) but I think not intended to be, it also had a tad bit of sweetness that was significant but still short of being cloying... Tiff thought is had a bit of a premox / caramel thing, which I didn't fully get... no doubt we both like the '17 better

Feels young on the approach, citrus notes, butter and a saline touch. On the palate, the rich buttery, creamy feel gets compensated by the acidity. Mouthwatering finish, making you salivate for more. Good already but it feels like it needs more time to become more rich and complex. Lacks a bit of concentration and fattiness at the moment.

very nice, with classic 2015 med plus body and (at least for its age) a hint more roundness than I usually like, nonetheless this went down very smooth and was liked by all, beat out the Gambal St. Aubin "Dents de Chiens" '16 by a nose for me... the family would have probably not said "by a nose"

very nice, especially cuz it was in the typical style of the '15's -- a little bolder and a little richer than fits my preference... nonetheless had just a little lift / verve to keep it interesting and would be well liked by all at a dinner party I suspect... nice lemon jello cake in there... lovely, but with more cut / minerality it might have gone to 93 or 94 points...

Great White Burgundy: 6 of the Very best 1er Crus with Jasper Morris (67@Home Zoom Tasting): 1st time I’ve tasted this cuvee and it’s quite different from the villages further south that we’ve tasted, the nose is pretty much leaping from the glass, it’s quite rich, vanilla custard even. The palate has lots of energy, the weight is beautifully balanced with the acidity, really long. This feels like a great food wine able to stand up to some relatively creamy dishes

this was fine wine, a good example of one of our fav bottlings... only missed on 93 pts due to its having a little more richness / little less tension / lift than many vintages... true to '15, which for me is a good vintage but not a great one... my thinking is this should be drunk in the next 3-4 years

The 2015 Burgundy blancs I have tried recently have been a bit variable so I thought I'd open a bottle of this wine ... and it's very impressive. Pale gold colour. On opening, a slug of reduction on bouquet followed by grapefruit, pears, clotted cream, river boulders and a hint of jasmine perfume. Opulent, very rich and tactile on palate, albeit satiny. Quite primary, weighty and structured, almost tannic-seeming. Powerful citrus, almond paste, peach and pear with a little tropical fruit edge. Decent granite minerality and acidity and some nice phenolic bitterness on the finish. Good length. Give it 2-3+ years to settle a little more. Even though the acids are far from prominent, I would not be surprised if this Clos des Mouches turned out to be quite long-lived. Well balanced and in proportion.

So young yet so developed. Nose of passionfruit and pear. On the palate wonderful notes of cooked apple, pear and pie crust, white pepercorn giving way to a fantastic finish and length which lasts minutes. Soft, delicate. This is drinking fantastically now, however will only get better. To retry in 2022. Wow!

Fabulous. Bright, plenty of lift and dry extract. Ripe orchard fruit. No hints of the vintage.

Apple, pineapple, some citrus and elevage notes (barrel), rich and mature, a certain sweetness, finally too much sunny impact.

Outstanding white Burgundy: 6 of the very best 1er Crus with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!): Gorgeous cedary scents. Broad and super-tasty on the palate, but dry and not tropical at all - stony, verging on savoury. Fills the mouth with enjoyment. Very long.
