Saturday, January 12, 2019 - I was both happy and sad that the tannis were holding strong! Integrated and dusty but still a player. Sad cause I opened this too soon - plenty of life left. As a Wine Directer, used to pour the 2005 López Cubillo Crianza BTG at a restaurant..and that was 6 years ago. Anyway, decanting for an hour brought out more of the typical Rioja fruit but I equally enjoyed it fresh outta the bottle. Classic, textbook stuff!
