Textbook terrioir on the nose and pallot confirms but with a touch of saline which intensifies on the finish. Concentrated and layered. Off dry at best. Solid, solid wine - no real disappointment. I think I prefer his Secs more but would love to taste again with some age on it. It begs for food pairings. Purchased at an esteemed wine store just today.

Hold! 1 bottle stored at 55 for the past 4 years. This is a young wine with a ton of life. There is nothing too off balance right now - the dark red fruit and tannins are dancing hand in hand. Grafite and cedar are minor players. Will blow the vast majority of Napa Cab/blends outta the water with room to spare. Hold for another year or five.... Cheers!

As the above review stated - I’m not sure who’s winning the battle here. Be it the fruit (probably not), the non fruit, the (intense) oak or the alcohol. The tannins are dusty and well integrated. This wine is slightly hot and it isn’t kind to the finish..at 14.5 no wonder. There’s allot of good going on and while fun to drink (with NY Strips, mushrooms and mashed potatoes), there is a big, vegetal mid palate that, at this point, brings the wine off balance. This is my 1st taste from this producer. Cheers!
