Saturday, August 26, 2006 - I thought this would be a good palate cleaser before we started the reds. Leftover form two days ago and still singing.
The color is an orange golden. Small legs for this low alcohol treat. The nose was orange marmalade, fuji apples, and petrol. A nice slate note as well. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and multilayered. Delicious mandarin oranges and sour apples. Like a sweet tart. Petrol again, almost a piney note too, and a level of sweetness perfectly balanced with the acid. Light on its feet. Beautiful. 93 pts.
