Friday, January 26, 2018 - Don't know how to score this bottle. We gave this wine a 93 in 2017. This was so big on opening, it was difficult to drink. Though it did open up after 30-40 minutes, it was mainly dried plums, black cherries and leather in the nose, huge fruit in the flavor, but also a bit of alcohol in the finish. We're going to wait a year or more on our next and last bottle. It will need to be decanted at least 45 minutes, probably longer.
