Thursday, September 30, 2021 - Tuscan WIMPS 2021 (La Trompette): Probably the underdog of today's reds on paper, but acquitted itself very well. Nicely mature rather than in any way OTH. Spicy nose, with sage to match the food. Chewy and tangy on the palate, with plenty of dark fruit and an overriding freshness.
