Sunday, June 24, 2012 - I wasn't expecting much from this wine. I was very concerned that it was over the hill and that it would find its way into the sink. It was, however a nice surprise for a Sunday evening. Violets on the nose. Light red cherry palate, nicely balanced by softish acid and some tannin. Finish is short. Not an exceptional wine, but easy drinking and undemanding.
