Sunday, December 27, 2009 - WOW! Very suprised by this bottle of wine. Mix of old and new world here; has the nose of an old world bordeaux but the up front fruit of a napa cab. This was just singing tonight, really really suprised by this especially considering the vintage. I don't get any green notes as others have mentioned. A ton of dark black fruit, just the right amount of funk on the nose and a finish that goes on and on. Alcohol and tannins very well integrated. I may have to seek more of this out, especially at the price.
