Wednesday, February 14, 2018 - Pale straw color. Nose of tropical fruit, hints of peach and citrus zest and some crushed, powdery rock. Very nice. Similar flavors on the palate with zippy acidity, a clean and crisp finish with moderate length. This was one of the better vintages of Ehlers sauvignon blanc that I can recall in terms of balance between the fruit and acidity. Paired perfectly with halibut with a mango and avocado salsa.
