Friday, July 28, 2023 - Just gorgeous from the moment the bottle is opened. Intense smells and flavors of lemon, salty minerals, fresh bread, and flowers, with roasted bell peppers and underripe white peaches in the extremely long and powerful aftertaste. This still seems to be a very young wine--it will certainly remain wonderful, and might well improve, with more time in the cellar. This would, by the way, be amazing with simple grilled swordfish. [Tasted over more than an hour from the Jancis Robinson glass, the Conterno glass, and the old Dany Rolland Cristal d'Arques Oenologue glass, with only meaningless differences.]
