Sunday, June 4, 2023 - Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 2 hours. Boy this has such pretty purple fruit, brambly, ripe, blackberry, boysenberry, mountain blueberries, with a lot grpahiter, earth, pepper and spice notes on top of an incense laden, menthol laced perfume. The palate is ultra satiny, gorgeous, juicy dark berries, plush tannins, graphite, tar and minerals, earth, deep and layered and very long. This had excellent balance, forward - if you can say that at 18 years, with structure and class. These hold up so well - I can see this going another 5 years easily. Just wish I had a couple to see it myself. 93+ to 94pts.
