Saturday, April 15, 2023 - Pergole Torte Vertical tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Zalto Universal and Burgundy
Tasted blind. Clear, youthful medium ruby color. Fine elegant nose with lots of cool red fruit, some petals, spicy. Beautiful.
On the palate high acidity, fine red fruit, rose petals, spices, high, fine tanning, a bit drying. Good pressure, elegant, pure, juicy and very young. Long, fine fruity and herbaceous finish. Needs 5+ years. 93++
