Sunday, November 19, 2023 - From mag. Ready to drink. This is a much lighter style of LPT given the vintage - decanted for 2hrs+ in 2x 750ml decanters and it needed it. Wow, this was bursting at the seams - the nose was to die for. Tuscany in a glass - intense violets, dried cherry, asphalt/scorched earth, wild rosemary. The palate is more light bodied for LPT but makes up for it with juicy and bright cherry flavors with extremely fine and supple tannins. This is a wine to enjoy in youth, would not recommend aging this as it's drinking so great right now.
