Dusty tannins follow a very dry savoury palate. At this point MC becomes agitiated about the standard of glassware on offer, and restaurant staff begin to scurry around to find better, crsytal glasses. Riedels of all shapes are produced, but I drag out the Vinum Shiraz I packed at home. From this glass there is a little spice I hadn’t noticed earlier, but for all that the wine is still quite light/medium bodied and restrained.
