Saturday, July 6, 2019 - Tasted at a small bistro in Lyon. Light yellow with a green tinge. Nose and palate have lots of wet stone minerals, slightly reductive when first opened but that element faded rather quickly. It e pressed lemon, apricot and pear with a nice fruity texture but still in my mind wholly old world in nature. Finish has a distinct creme brûlée effect. I thought this was nice and a good pair with a variety of seafood and salad dishes. I think this is probably better now with a couple more years on it that it was on first release.
