91 Points

Saturday, June 25, 2016 - Medium amber-golden colour; quite a rich and nutty nose with a distinct touch of sweetness, candied fruit, good depth, hint of salty wood; on the attack and mid-palate this is quite rounded and full too, but then the typical Sercial acidity kicks in with a vengeance and the very long and intense finish is crisp and dry with notes of fresh green olives, lemon zest and wood. A slightly schizofrenic wine, but I must admit to liking it and QPR is excellent.
