Monday, April 22, 2024 - classic Cote-Rotie markers are already creeping in, with few hours of air - smoky raspberries, blackberry and blueberry, olives and bacon. Violets and black pepper. Palate has med+ tannings, that are very fine and seamlessly integrated with correct level of acidity.. mineral, peppery finish with tiny hint of green stems/olives. Still very primary but also a pleasure to drink. Very clear bottle, so I do not find funky side as in some previous notes. Well balanced wine, with very good future potential, still bit too young for my taste.
