Monday, January 29, 2024 - I was quite pleased with this one. Beautiful nose that smelled fresh and lively, with dark red cherries and more softly of blueberry pie. I was excited. The palate was still a bit tight, though it opened with air, showing mostly dark red cherries and a little gravel. The tannins stayed semi-firm throughout the evening. Really liked what it was doing alongside my bison ribeye. You can enjoy this now with air, but I think it may be a point or two better with a little more cellar time.
