Friday, October 13, 2017 - This is a superb Auxey-Duresses, and while it will continue to improve over the next decade and beyond, it already reveals a beautiful bouquet of ripe red berry and cherry fruit, cocoa powder and a subtle framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is supple, quite full-bodied and expansive, with great energy to balance its amplitude, and a lovely deep core of fruit, structured around very fine, ripe tannins which gently assert themselves on the finish.
