Saturday, November 17, 2018 - Did a blind tasting of 9 white Burgundies (3 Chablis, 3 Beaune, 3 Macon) and this was the only one with a over-powering sulfur stink. The underlying wine was pretty good, but it was hard to break thru the sulfur. Even an hour-and-a-half later, it was still prominent.
Otherwise: ripe yellow, golden delicious apple; hints of nutmeg, fresh shaved wild mushrooms that still had soil on them; damp forest floor, lively finish of sweet, ripe lemons.
