Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - 14.0% alcohol. Aromatic, plush, and pretty from the get-go. Black cherry color. Lovely bouquet of black cherry, blackberry, earth, and spice. In the mouth, a terrific balance between plush mouth feel and linear structure. Lush on the palate, with loads of black cherry and blackberry fruit that gain focus from the minerality and earth. Bright acidity. Long finish that shows a bit of oak. This is beautiful. A-
