Saturday, October 1, 2011 - dark in color, aromatically quite ripe with slightly soured aspect to the fruit, on the palate quite acidic, hardish midpalate, minimal tannins, and a slighlty green aspect (stems?). Slightly firm on the balance, good length, good intensity, average complexity... some finesse, slightly hard texture, so-so expression of place. Quirky wine that I wasn't feeling... drink up.
