Tuesday, December 6, 2022 - I opened the bottle and poured a small glass for an initial taste, then went back to it after an hour. I found the nose to be somewhat subdued, but did get little hints of blueberry, cherry, spice and maybe some smoke/almost incense. Very balanced, great mouthfeel and fairly long finish. Overall I liked this wine, but was hoping for a little more aromatically. I have one bottle remaining that I’ll probably hold onto for a number of years and see how it progresses.
