Tuesday, September 12, 2023 - Oak and cassis, which continues to develop, on deep nose. Slight mustiness which I hoped would blow off but did not even with decant and some could not get past the funk/mineral. Nice plum and cassis fruit but a touch astringent. More fruit than prior vintages. Can compete with many other Bordeaux first wines and certainly a good example of Pauliac. Drinking well now.
