Opened for 1 hour before approaching. At first the nose was a little hesitant, then as the next hour went by the wine opened with floral and cherry nuisances, and was very smooth on the palate with a lingering aftertaste. Medium bodied. Went very well with dinner. A great second wine from a noble house. Would not hesitate to continue drinking over time.

Opened one hour before drinking. The nose is intense, with notes of cassis, blackberry and green bell pepper. Full bodied despite only 13 abv, very intense, nice smooth tannins, again the blackberries ad cassis, chocolate notes. Long finish. Interesting to see how it can evolve in a couple of years

Bold, ripe and this has developed nicely over the past 1 year. I shall wait another 2 years for the next.
54% Cab, 37% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 4% Cab Franc.
Very deep purple and near opaque, this presents itself with black fruit and nuanced red roses too. Immediately full bodied, with fine tannins and medium acidity.
Drank this slowly after a short bottle breathe, cedar and cigar box nose kept building with cassis notes and a medium length finish. Blessed Christmas to all the Vivino fans near and wide..

From a 375ml bottle . I often find with young Bordeaux it’s really not worth the exercise as it’s often way too young to give pleasure . So I was really somewhat surprised that at this early stage of the wines development it was so approachable . Really quite soft on one’s palette , nothing out of place with balance with a bit of grip and tension on the earthy mineral finish. Very expressive aromatics that are tell tale left bank , lovely fruit . I would recommend opening this.

Oak and cassis, which continues to develop, on deep nose. Slight mustiness which I hoped would blow off but did not even with decant and some could not get past the funk/mineral. Nice plum and cassis fruit but a touch astringent. More fruit than prior vintages. Can compete with many other Bordeaux first wines and certainly a good example of Pauliac. Drinking well now.
