Friday, December 22, 2023 - I'd put this in the very good, but disappointing category; I mean Y'quem is alway good; however this bottle lacked energy for me; the nose is lovely with candied mandarins, butterscotch, pineapple, mango, vanilla pod, and honeysuckle; the palate is a bit sweet and ponderous; lacks the freshening acidity that I really want to keep it singing. Its rich and deep, and lovely don't get me wrong, I'm nitpicking here; it is delicious, but I've had better Y'quem. Will see how this ages.
