Saturday, October 7, 2023 - Awkward and angular when first opened, but fruit and oak emerge with air and blend nicely. Better the 2nd day. Merlot 83%, Cabernet Franc 17%. A wine more of finesse than power. Like virtually all Pomerols, you're paying for the appellation, not necessarily the quality of the wine.

11/20/2023 11:27:00 AM - Does it need more time in bottle or a long decant - I would normally approach a wine like this from a decent vintage for a decade.
