Thursday, September 21, 2023 - This is a really lovely port drunk far too young. It took a very long time to open, but when it did some really nice notes of strawberry, lavender, lilac playing to an overall rich but not overly heavy wine. A nicely tannic, drying finish that was maybe a bit too grippy now will, I suspect, only become more refined with age. This is one to keep in the bottle for a good while longer, and it should reward you for your patience
