I left the bottle open over night, recorked and had the rest the next night. Pleasant and tasty to drink now. Dark and medium-to-full-bodied. Dark berries. Not tannic: so I don’t know whether this wine will last many more years. It may be close to its peak. But it is a reasonably decent and enjoyable wine now, if you let it air for a while. I won’t pour my remaining bottles into the drain as I thought I might do two years ago. I am looking forward to opening the next one. But who knows: perhaps I will change my mind then.
