Friday, March 3, 2023 - The Verticals Tasting at 2023 La Paulée (Eventi Hotel, New York): Slightly deeper than the 2017. Riper black cherry on the nose. Not huge but so well balanced, slightly sappy, gorgeous blackberry and cherry, herb, and soil. Driving tannins that penetrate every corner of the mouth. Wow, immensely impressive. This could turn out to be one of the great vintages of Clos des Lambrays.
