Tuesday, December 12, 2017 - A quiet mineral spice that is very Chambolle in character. Opening up into bright red cherry fruit. Young and vibrant, but certainly approachable and pleasurable. Less expressive and showy than it is delicate and elegant, in what I find to be classic Mugnier style. Glad this bottle was enjoyed before the main event as, although it was excellent, sometimes Mugnier's subtle beauty gets overwhelmed in a broader context.
