Tuesday, February 28, 2023 - Admittedly, I sampled this after having the 2007 Domaine du Pégau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée da Capo last night. No comparison. This is a serviceable Châteauneuf-du-Pape with time to develop. Flavors exhibit a certain amount of fleshiness, which to me comes from prolonged yeast/lees contact. Good but not particularly refined.
