Sunday, October 1, 2023 - Opened for 3 hours. Color is deep ruby. On the nose: Pepper, blood, violets, black olives, cassis, cinnamon and plum. On the palate: Cassis, pepper, beef blood, tapenade and violets. Luscious mouthfeel and very long finish. This is a baby and probably needs 10 years to fully develop. It’s fabulous now but I expect it will be resplendent in 5-10 years.
